Programme launched to shine light on inclusive development

The Information Department launched the Informed Society programme (PMB) yesterday at Pusat Bahagia in Kampong Pulaie.

The two-day programme, which began yesterday, was joined by 34 participants, including members of Persons with Different Abilities (MKOKU) and affiliated associations, led by MKOKU Deputy Chairman Haji Noor Ishanuddin bin Haji Noor Kaseh.

Organised by the Public Relations Unit of the Strategic Communications Section, the event was attended by Acting Senior Information Officer and Head of the Publications and Strategic Communications Division Saadiatul Nur Aqilah binti Haji Jaman.

Acting Head of the Strategic Communications Section Pengiran Haji Ahmad Fadillah Akhbar bin Pengiran Sellahhuddin said that the programme has been designed to enhance community knowledge in alignment with current and future national development needs.

“This edition of the programme focuses on inclusive national development, stressing the importance of integrating all societal levels, including those with different abilities, into national development efforts. The goal is to foster comprehensive national progress by ensuring active participation from all community members,” he added. – Azlan Othman
