WEB DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:

• To undertake designing, coding and modifying website and mobile app from layout to function.
• To create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Programming or related field.
• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used cross multiple products and organizational units.
• Hands on experience with programming languages, like PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, C#, XML, Android Studio and Xcode.
• Good understanding and command in MySQL, Linux CentOS, cPanel, and content management system.
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.

SUB-EDITOR (BORNEO BULLETIN)

Responsibilities:

• Writing, rewriting, editing and proofreading
• Ensuring house style is adhered to
• Writing headlines and picture captions
• Liaising with journalists, reporters and editors
• Verifying information
• Designing page layouts
• Ensuring that stories are correctly placed
• Selecting and editing photographs
• Writing feature stories from time to time

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or any other relevant field
• At least 2 years experience in an English language newspaper or magazine
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Able to work under pressure
• No problem with evening working hours
