The Muzakarah session “is a platform for the ministry to share updates on services, policies, regulations, achievements and initiatives, all aligned with the ministry’s Strategic Plan and Brunei Vision 2035”, Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman said.
The minister made these comments when the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) hosted a Muzakarah session with Legislative Council (LegCo) members at the MoHA building’s multipurpose hall yesterday.
Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin chairing the session, expressed hope that the session would encourage questions and spark new ideas for transparent and practical reforms. The goal is to find solutions that adapt to changing times and create a comprehensive, inclusive strategy through the whole-of-government and whole-of-nation approaches.
Since the last session in November 2023, the minister said that “the ministry continued to be committed in implementing various reforms and improvements”.
“Some of the previously planned projects have been completely implemented, while others are still in the process of construction or preparation, including projects under the National Development Plan,” he said.
