OVB Sdn Bhd emerged as champion of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Brunei Section Golf Invitational 2024 held at the Royal Brunei Golf and Country Club (RBGCC) yesterday.
In second and third places were Megalift ‘B’ Sdn Bhd and MOC Sdn Bhd. Other winners including fourth, fifth, novelty and lucky draw also brought home prizes.
SPE Chairman Zulfaiq Zaini and Abshishek Awasthi of Halliburton, the main sponsor and organiser of the event, presented the prizes to the winners.
SPE Brunei Section Secretary Dr Ayyub bin Kamaludin expressed gratitude to all participants, sponsors and volunteers contributing to the event.
“The Golf Invitational 2024 not only provided a platform for networking and sport but also supported the organisation’s ongoing initiatives in the petroleum engineering sector,” he added.
The SPE also presented a mock cheque for BND3,952, sponsoring Universiti Teknologi Brunei SPE Student Chapter for their participation in the upcoming SPE PetroBowl Vietnam. – Fadley Faisal
