The Ministry of Home Affairs held a Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1446 Hijrah at the ministry building’s multipurpose hall yesterday.
Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman was the guest of honour.
Themed ‘Preserving the Mind based on the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh)’, this year’s celebration was organised by the National Disaster Management Centre. The ceremony also saw a talk on ‘Cinta Rasulullah Tiada Penghujungnya’ by Mohammad Nasyith bin Superi from the Islamic Da’wah Centre.
The ceremony included the recitation of Dikir Marhaban by the Fire and Rescue Department dikir team and the presentation of a memento to the guest speaker. – James Kon
Salma Jaya Company
The Salma Jaya Company held a Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1446 Hijrah in Kiulap on Monday.
Some 200 attendees comprising the company’s family members attended the ceremony.
A Dikir Marhaban was performed by the Kampong Sungai Kedayan dikir group.
The ceremony also saw awards presented to students who recently received excellent academic achievements. – James Kon
HiTUNE Group of Companies
The HiTUNE Group of Companies recently celebrated Maulidur Rasul at its premises in Kampong Mata-Mata.
Managing Director Pengiran Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Bujang attended the event.
The gathering saw a religious talk by Chief Executive of Al-Huzaify Al-Quran Academy Nurzamir bin Zakaria on preservation of the human mind based on the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). – Azlan Othman
Ministry of Education
The Ministry of Education (MoE) held a Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1446 Hijrah at the ministry’s building main hall yesterday.
Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh was the guest of honour.
The ceremony began with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa led by imam of the Kampong Sungai Besar Mosque Haji Hanafiah bin Haji Mahmud. This was followed by a talk on ‘Kecintaan Para Sahabat Kepada Rasulullah: Antara Bukti Kecerdasan Emosi Rasulullah dalam Pendidikan’ by Muhd Yussof bin Haji Abdul Majid from the Counselling and Religious Understanding Division, Department of Syariah Affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The ceremony concluded with a Dikir Marhaban led by Shaifulbahri bin Haji Ahmad from the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE).
Themed ‘Preserving the Mind based on the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh)’, this year’s celebration was jointly organised by the IBTE and the Department of Educators Management, MoE. – James Kon
DES School
DES School students came together to celebrate Maulidur Rasul during an assembly recently. The assembly began with a selawat by students and teachers followed by sharing stories of Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) life by Islamic Studies Department teachers, highlighting compassion, integrity, and leadership as valuable lessons for all.
To add an element of fun, the event featured a series of quizzes related to the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), with students who answered correctly receiving rewards.
In addition to the assembly, students across all levels contributed to the celebration by joining in various activities and artworks.
