His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on Wednesday evening attended the APEC Welcome Reception held at the Exploratorium Museum, Pier 15, San Francisco, United States of America.
Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.

His Majesty was greeted on arrival at the Exploratorium Museum by Ethan Rosenzweig, Acting Chief of Protocol, United States Department of State.
The Reception began with short speeches from Mayor of San Francisco London Breed; Governor of California Gavin Newsom; Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris; and President of the United States Joseph R Biden.
The Welcome Reception was hosted by the City of San Francisco and the San Francisco APEC Host Committee to welcome the APEC Economic Leaders as well as delegations attending the AELM.
