Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had taught us that Al-Quran and As-Sunnah should be used as daily life guidance, said religious operation officer at the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Captain Mohammad Ayza Azrine bin Ayahani during a religious talk at the Munajat night on Saturday night.
Organised virtually by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the talk touched on the importance of following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to curb the spread of COVID-19, including the suspension of border crossing and the use of face masks.
These guidelines are related to As-Sunnah (practice) of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Captain Mohammad Ayza Azrine added.
The concept of ‘Together We Protect Each Other’ during the pandemic is in line with the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) which emphasises Ummah to stay away from harm or anything detrimental.
Captain Mohammad Ayza Azrine said that Muslims must be confident and convinced that As-Sunnah brings peace, prosperity and security.
Commenced in September last year, the Munajat was held for the 19th time. RBAF officers and staff from all the garrisons’ suraus attended the talk. Some 43 congregants also participated.
