The munajat night programme, organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), continued with the participation of the Ministry of Energy and participation of 49 mosques across the country.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and Minister of Energy Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mat Suny bin Haji Mohd Hussein officiated the 24th edition of the event with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.
This was followed by Surah Yaasiin led by Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque Supervisor Zulkifli bin
Haji Murat.
The Doa Munajat was recited by Syariah High Court Judge Haji Hassan bin Haji Metali.
The munajat night saw a religious talk titled ‘Ku MilikMu’ by lecturer of the Faculty of Syariah and Law at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali Dr Widad binti Haji Abdul Aziz from Brunei Hall in London, United Kingdom.
The Munajat night continued with Asma Ul-Husna and Selawat led by Education Officer at the Religious School Section of the Islamic Education Department at the MoRA Hajah Rohani binti Kamis.
The event concluded with Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam recited by Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque Affairs Officer Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Md Yassin.
