The Malaysian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam organised Merdeka Canival at its premises, in conjunction with the country’s 67th Independence Day. The carnival saw around 200 Malaysians attend.
It featured activities and competitions, including the Merdeka Explore Race, colouring, mecanting batik and a traditional costume competition.
Vendors comprised Malaysian entrepreneurs as well as families of the officials at the high commission.
Acting Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nur Ezira binti Mahadi was also present. – Lyna Mohamad
