The Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department issued a red weather warning for the entire country at 1.40pm on Saturday.
The advisory noted that there can be winds of up to 70 kilometres per hour that may damage unstable structures, as well as increase risk of falling trees and flying roofs.
The department noted sea conditions is dangerous to small boats during gusty showers, and there is risk of flash floods in low-lying and flood prone areas.
The red warning ends at 4.30pm.
