Programmes such as Industry Engagement and Enterprise Development (IEED) are pivotal in equipping students with skills necessary to thrive in business environments and foster ideas for successful ventures, said Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Assistant Vice-Chancellor for IEED Dr Haji Masairol bin Haji Masri during an exchange programme at the university yesterday.
Dr Haji Masairol said active dialogue with industry partners generates interest in collaborations and that academic-industry collaborations are essential as they guide strategic direction and reveal new opportunities for partnership and mutual growth.
Vice-Chancellor of UBD Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle launched Launchpad Guidebook, Incubation Handbook, Pre-Venture Lab Guide Book, fourth edition of Venture Lab Programme book and EntreMasterClass Programme book at the event which attracted over 70 participants.
