A vehicle fire incident was reported on Thursday at Jalan Beribi, Kampong Mata-Mata at about 7.30am where six firefighters from the Beribi Fire Station, Operation ‘A’ Branch rushed to the scene, led by ASO Sohardi bin Haji Piut.
Arriving at the scene, the fire had burnt the interior of a parked SUV vehicle which had been extinguished by house resident Haji Mohd Dzulkhairi bin Haji Salleh using their home’s water pipe before the firefighters arrived.
Firefighters were on standby with dry powder extinguishing equipment for safety measures.
The cause and estimated losses are under investigation.
