Mohamad Zulkhairy bin Mohamad Azamy from RPN Kampong Rataie Mosque youth emerged as the winner of the sermon reading competition for mosque youth in the Temburong District.
The competition, held by RPN Kampong Rataie Mosque takmir committee members in collaboration with the Temburong District Mosque Affairs Office, saw 11 youth participate. The event aimed to inspire youth, discover their talents and prepare them to become future mosque officers.
It also serves as an annual activity at RPN Kampong Rataie to select a district representative for the national youth sermon reading competition.
Acting Director of Mosque Affairs Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, the guest of honour, presented prizes to the winners. – Azlan Othman
