    Youth forum inspires volunteerism

    The Faculty of Islamic Development Management (FPPI), together with Brunei History Centre (PSB), organised a youth forum recently, in conjunction with the 40th National Day celebration.

    The forum highlighted the understanding of volunteerism, experiences of how one can start in the field of volunteerism, and strategies and approaches to engage youth in participating in volunteering activities.

    Themed ‘Fostering the Spirit of Volunteerism Among Youth’, the forum was designed to be a platform for youth to share perspectives, experiences and ideas in contributing to the community and nation-building efforts.

    Abdul Qayyum bin Haji Isa was the moderator, while Mohammad Ashmeer bin Imtiaz Ahmad, Joshua Balayan and Nurhudiya Fakhriah binti Damit were the panel members.

    The session concluded with the presentation of certificates and tokens of appreciation to the forum panel members and moderators.

    Principal of PSB Dr Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong was the guest of honour.

    Dean of FPPI Associate Professor Dr Anis Malik Thoha, Deputy Dean of FPPI Muhammed Sahrin bin Haji Masri, PSB’s Acting Deputy Principal I Mohammad Faisal bin Haji Mat Salleh and Acting Deputy Principal II Muhammad Syahmi bin Halimshah were among those present. – Rokiah Mahmud
