Ainaa Zukrina binti Haji Abdul Manap, a proud graduate of the Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing (Network Engineering) from Micronet International College (MIC), noted that their graduation yesterday represented not just the end of an academic journey, but the beginning of a new adventure for each of them.
As one of the two students receiving the Special Merit Award for exemplified academic excellence and dedication, Ainaa Zukrina expressed her gratitude to Allah the Almighty for His continuous blessings and guidance throughout the journey.
The certification, she said, represents more than just their academic achievements but it symbolises resilience, determination and a commitment to excellence.
Ainaa Zukrina also thanked her lecturers for being mentors, guiding them with wisdom and helping navigate both the complexities of their field and realities of life. She also expressed gratitude to her parents and family, who have been her source of strength, motivation and unwavering support.
As she is only 22, Ainaa Zukrina plans to pursue her degree before deciding her next step in moving on to her career world. Another Special Merit Awardee was Dayangku Nur Izzati binti Pengiran Muhammad Nizem, honoured for her outstanding performance in the Pearson BTEC Level 5 HND in Computing.
“As a reflection on the past few years, we’ve been figuring out who we are, fumbling through mistakes, successes, and countless late nights. We’ve been building the foundation of what’s to come. But as I stand here, I realise how much more there is to learn and how much more we could become,” she noted in her speech.
“One advice I’ll keep in mind: True greatness does not come from grades or approval but from the dedication, effort and heart you bring to what you do.” The 23-year old plans to step into a career where she can use her creative abilities and problem-solving skills to make a difference.
Muhammad Nur Aziman bin Haji Mohd Raffee is currently pursuing his HND with MIC and was one of the graduates receiving his Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Diploma in Information Technology (IT) certificate yesterday.
“I feel proud to be among the graduates today, especially having my father witness my graduation. It was quite a journey but thanks to the helpful and supportive lecturers and staff at the college, my friends and I managed to complete and graduate today. I hope to be among the graduates again in my next achievement at MIC.”
The college has been a great source of support for him, with staff and lecturers consistently providing motivation and assistance with his assignments, he said. – Lyna Mohamad
