SEOUL (ANN/THE KOREA HERALD) – Super Junior’s powerhouse vocalist, Yesung, is ready to make a splash in the music scene with his latest solo venture. SM Entertainment has announced that Yesung will drop his sixth EP, It’s Complicated, on November 5.
The highly anticipated release will feature five fresh tracks, including the lead single, sure to delight fans eager for new music.
This upcoming EP marks Yesung’s return as a solo artist after more than a year, following the success of his fifth EP, Unfading Sense, which was released in October last year.
The previous album not only showcased Yesung’s soulful voice and unique artistry but also dominated the iTunes Top Albums charts in 16 countries, proving his global appeal as a solo performer.
As a key member of the legendary boy band Super Junior, Yesung is on the brink of celebrating 20 years in the industry in 2025.
Yet, his solo career has been just as noteworthy. From late 2023 to early 2024, Yesung embarked on the “Unfading Sense” Asian tour, captivating fans across nine cities with his live performances.
Most recently, from June to September, he reunited with Super Junior for their grand “Super Show Spin-off: Halftime” concert series, which toured eight cities across Asia.
Yesung’s busy schedule doesn’t end there. He’s set to take the stage at the Mawang 10th: Ghost Stage, a tribute concert in honour of the late rock legend Shin Hae-chul, on October 26-27 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon.
During the event, Yesung will pay homage to the beloved icon by reinterpreting some of Shin’s classic hits, adding his own heartfelt touch to the rock star’s legacy.
