The Syariah Courts of the State Judiciary Department at the Prime Minister’s Office, held a two-day in-house training titled ‘Workshop on Enforcement and Implementation Orders’ at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Brunei High Court and Syariah Courts Building.
The workshop held until yesterday, attended by 30 participants, aimed to provide exposure and enhance understanding, knowledge and skills in enforcing and implementing court orders in accordance with existing provisions.
It also sought to deepen the participants’ comprehension of applying legal provisions related to the implementation of orders and executing them effectively, as well as to equip officers with effective methods and procedures to ensure compliance with court orders and address any issues arising during enforcement.
Facilitated by High Court Judge of the Federal Territories Syariah Court in Malaysia Mohamed Fouzi bin Mokhtar, the workshop began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a Doa, followed by a speech from Acting Chief Registrar of the Syariah Court of Appeal Pengiran Mohammaddin bin Pengiran Haji Aliakbar. Chief Syar’ie Judge Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar attended the opening on Tuesday. – Fadley Faisal
