The Council of Women of Brunei Darussalam (CWBD) yesterday continued their Tedarus Al-Quran for the holy month of Ramadhan, which was held at the residences of CWBD Vice-President II Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Mohd Ali.
The event was attended by 13 members from the association.
Datin Hajah Masni, in her speech, said Ramadhan is eagerly anticipated by Muslims for its blessings and forgiveness.
She also highlighted that the Tedarus serves not only as an annual religious event, but also an opportunity for Muslims to get closer to Allah the Almighty.
The vice president II shared the CWBD’s activities since January, including holding a consultation session with stakeholder and non-governmental organisations, participated in the 40th National Day celebration and attended the Munajat. – Rokiah Mahmud
