The Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA) received a BND678.54 donation from Sayyidina Husain Secondary School during a ceremony at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah yesterday.
Sayyidina Husain Secondary School Deputy Principal (Administration) Zulidi bin Haji Mahali presented the donation, raised through a walkathon held in conjunction with the school’s 30th anniversary last year.
Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Assistant Managing Director Major (Rtd) Sopian bin Haji Mohammad Yassin received the donation on behalf of DANA’s Acting Chief Executive Officer.
DANA expressed appreciation for the support, emphasised that contributions from donors are vital in enhancing the well-being of orphans in the country. – James Kon
