The Irau Tupeh Padey Volleyball Tournament 2024 concluded last weekend with a prize presentation ceremony at the multi-purpose hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex.
In the men’s category, Bua Lapun of Zone 5 emerged as champions, followed by Arur Merutup of Zone 4 in second place.
Leberuh Derayeh of Zone 1 secured third place, while Arur Lebiral of Zone 3 finished fourth.
In the women’s category, Arur Repugi of Zone 1 claimed the championship title.
Arur Bebarang of Zone 4 finished second, with Bua Kaber of Zone 5 in third place and Pau Sia of Zone 3 in fourth.
The tournament attracted 300 participants and aimed to identify talented volleyball players for association and national competitions.
President of Lun Bawang Murut Brunei Association (PLBMB) Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Tamin bin Tuah, the guest of honour, presented the prizes to the winners. – James Kon
