Around 1,200 people attended the visiting LongTan Philharmonic Orchestra charity performance at Pusat Insani, Seria on Sunday.
The orchestra performed various classical pieces, a saprano, tenor and duet performances by Hui-Ju Chen and Zhong-Yi Chen, and an interpretation of the traditional Malay folk song Rasa Sayang.
Music Director Ting-Yuh Wu explained that the performance brings not only the harmonious melody of the orchestra but also an exchange of culture and music that can be appreciated globally.
The performance was organised by the Taiwan Business Association in Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Brunei Darussalam, and V Plaza Hotel.
At intermission, the business association also handed over BND14,500 in donations to the Belait District charity fund.
