Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy Minister of National Defence of Vietnam Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, who is currently in the country, paid a visit to the Ministry of Defence (MinDef) on Friday.
On arrival at Bolkiah Garrison, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong was greeted by Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan before inspecting the guard of honour comprising personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF).
During the visit, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong also had the opportunity to make a call to the RBAF Commander for the two sides to reaffirm their commitments to strengthening bilateral defence and military relations towards attaining peace and stability in the region.
