Around 240 religious teachers will participate in a workshop for an early introduction to Arabic language teaching from September 28 to November 19.
A launching ceremony for the workshop was held yesterday, attended by Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan as the guest of honour.
The deputy minister said the workshop, organised by Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), will help improve the teaching of Arabic language in religious schools at primary level.
Yesterday’s ceremony also saw a presentation of certificates to 20 participants that joined the Lughatul Mu’alim 5.0 series held last year.
