Five families in Mukim Labi, Belait District received donations from Brunei Gas Carriers Sdn Bhd (BGC) as part of its 10th instalment of Project Amali yesterday.
Managing Director Captain Abdul Mateen Abdurrahman Liew led the contingent comprising BGC management team members and volunteers.
Village Head of Kampong Labi I Hanapi bin Mohd Siput and Acting Penghulu of Mukim Labi II Muhd Nurazmi bin Haji Mustapa welcomed the delegation.
Captain Abdul Mateen said he is thankful that BGC was able to lend a helping hand to the Labi community.
He also hoped that the donation of basic essentials, will ease the families’ burdens and improve their living conditions.
He expressed gratitude for the support from the Community Development Department (JAPEM) and the acting penghulu of Mukim Labi I and II. – Daniel Lim
