In a bid to ensure a spiritually enriching and seamless Umrah experience, As Safa Travel and Tours organised a briefing and practical session on performing Tawaf for intending pilgrims.
The session, at the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, focused on providing essential knowledge and hands-on guidance for this vital ritual.
The event was led by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of As Safa Travel and Tours Pengiran Haji Mohd Naasiruddeen bin Pengiran Haji Yusoff, who elaborated on the significance of Tawaf, proper etiquette, and the prayers recited during the ritual.
A practical demonstration was also conducted, giving attendees a chance to familiarise themselves with the process and gain confidence ahead of the sacred journey.
A total of 250 intending pilgrims attended the session, engaging actively and demonstrating enthusiasm for the insights shared.
The session also provided a platform for the participants to ask questions and address any uncertainties regarding their upcoming pilgrimage.
“This session is part of our holistic approach to supporting our clients throughout their umrah journey,” said Pengiran Haji Mohd Naasiruddeen. “By equipping them with knowledge and practical guidance, we aim to ensure they are spiritually prepared and confident in performing the rituals.”
Attendees expressed appreciation for the session, noting its role in easing pre-journey concerns and clarifying important details. Many described it as invaluable preparation for their pilgrimage.
The event also saw the signing of a memorandum of understanding between As Safa Travel and Tours represented by its CEO and founder with RHJ Tijarah of Malaysia represented by its founder Hajah Siti Hajar binti Harun. – Fadley Faisal
