Two of the Young Entrepreneurs Association Brunei (YEAB) members, Co-Founder of Rattan House Maziznabel, and Founder of Khairani’s Closet Khairani Ashry, have been selected to participate in the Seminar on Culture and Tourism Empowering High-quality Rural Development for ASEAN Countries (Landing Project) in China.
The seminar, organised for participants across ASEAN nations, will take place from 19th
November to 29th November, 2024. This 10-day program brings together 20 participants from ASEAN countries to explore how culture and tourism can be leveraged to enhance rural development.
Both Maziznabel and Khairani will represent Brunei and engage in discussions on sustainable development, cultural preservation and tourism innovation. Their participation highlights YEAB’s dedication to its mission of “Bridging Borders, Empower Entrepreneurs” in Brunei.
YEAB expressed gratitude to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Brunei for their invaluable support in facilitating this unique opportunity. “This collaboration
underscores the strong bilateral ties between Brunei and China and reflects YEAB’s
commitment to nurturing young entrepreneurs and fostering regional partnerships.”
