The Tutong District Office’s Enforcement Unit fined a restaurant BND500 and a landscaping company BND200 for violations of the Miscellaneous Offences Act (Amendment) 2021 recently.
The companies were given seven working days to settle the fines or face court where they could be fined between BND2,000 and BND10,000 for the first offence and between BND10,000 and BND30,000 with imprisonment of no more than 12 months for subsequent offences.
