Local tug-of-war team Chainblock finished third in the traditional category of the Hari Wilayah Championship while KB Bull Brothers came fourth in Dataran Labuan recently.
Chainblock also secured third place in the shoe category.
Eight teams under the auspices of the Brunei Darussalam Tug of War Association recently competed in the championship at Dataran Labuan.
The championship was divided into two categories namely the traditional eight-puller with combined weight of 680 kilogrammes (kg) and the eight puller shoe with a combined weight of 680kg.
A total of 27 teams from Brunei Darussalam, Sabah, Sarawak, Labuan, and Kuala Lumpur competed.
Teams that represented the Sultanate were Chainblock, KB Bull Brothers, Chainblock Muay Thai, Brunei Super Mix, Luntau Borneo and MG5.
