Trophies for Taekwondo tournament winners

The 4th Korean Ambassador Cup Brunei Darussalam Taekwondo Championship yesterday concluded with a medal presentation ceremony at the Youth Centre in the capital.

018 MMA won as the best club in the Poomsa category with eight gold, six silver and four bronze medals while Hybrid Martial Arts Academy was placed second with three gold, five silver and a bronze. Wiraseni Al Barakah claimed third place with a gold, a silver and three bronze medals.

Meanwhile, in the Kyorugi event, the award for overall best club went to MTH Taekwondo Academy Sabah and Labuan with 10 gold, 11 silver and five bronze, while United Taekwondo were placed second with seven gold, five silver and three bronze.

018 MMA was placed third with six gold, three silver and two bronze.

Mohd Eshan Ishmael bin Sallehuddin was named the best hanmadang male athlete, while Delevingne Kho yan was named the best hanmadang female athlete.

Meanwhile, Mohd Raidin Al Haz bin Mohd Rommy was awarded with the honour of best male referee, and Annur Syaqila Syuhada binti Roslin the best female referee.

Second Secretary of the Korean Embassy in Brunei Darussalam Kim Dae Gun, the guest honour, handed the trophies to the winners.
