Training drill strengthens safety, emergency response

Mashhor Group of Companies (MGCSB) organised an emergency response exercise (ERE) focusing on emergency preparedness, search and rescue and mass evacuation at the surrounding premises of their main offices in Seria recently.

A fire drill evacuation exercise, codenamed ‘Operasi Tegas 2’, was led by MGCSB Corporate Group HSSE and Asset Manager Md Rizal bin Dr Haji Abdul Latif.

It saw a mass evacuation consisting of over 180 personnel from across the group and also integrated real-life simulation exercises involving search and rescue of missing persons, treatment of injured party and managing hazardous spillage.

The data compiled from the various feedback during the training drill will provide an overview of the events that unfolded as it is used to provide improvements and learnings for the post-ERE event’s post-mortem session held later in the day.
