The Youth Centre continues to provide valuable industry exposure for young talents, recently facilitating an educational visit to a beauty studio at a hotel in Kiulap.
The visit, led by Youth Centre Supervisor Haji Md Sofian bin Haji Amit and Youth Centre Grooming Manager Hajah Sabbrenna binti Haji Yunos, included four attachment students from the centre.
This initiative aims to help students gain practical knowledge and industry insights, preparing them for future careers.
This is not the first time the Youth Centre has collaborated with the beauty studio.
Previously, they partnered to launch ‘Nature-Inspired Fantasy’, a make-up competition featuring contestants from Brunei’s most talented make-up artists (MUAs).
In addition to training and competitions, the beauty studio also provides internship opportunities, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in a real beauty studio environment. The studio further offers guidance on business management, empowering students to eventually establish their own salons.
The collaboration reflects the shared goal of the Youth Centre and the beauty studio in nurturing young talents, providing practical learning, and encouraging youth entrepreneurship. By offering real-world experiences and mentorship, this visit aims to inspire students to explore career opportunities in the beauty and wellness industry.
Through strong partnerships and industry engagement, the Youth Centre continues to support Brunei Vision 2035 by equipping young individuals with the skills they need to succeed.
