Following the viral CCTV video on social media on 15 July, Seria Police Station of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) identified three suspects allegedly attempting theft at An-Naem Islamic Cemetery, Anduki.
The suspects, local citizens aged between 37 and 42, were accused of trying to steal from an air asah-asahan station at the cemetery. They have been charged under sections 379 and 511 of the Penal Code, Chapter 22, for attempted theft.
All three pleaded not guilty and have been remanded for further investigation.
