Several petrol filling stations in the country will be temporary closed to allow for routine inspection works.
Industry and Business Ecosystem Division’s Weights and Measures Unit (SDT) at the Ministry of Finance and Economy will conduct inspections of filling station pumps, usually conducted three times annually. The affected petrol filling stations will be closed from 9am, usually for two hours, until the inspections are complete.
The affected petrol station that will temporarily close today is Usahajaya Pekira Berhad.
Operations at TAIB Delima will be affected on July 10, Hajah Badariah and Sons on July 11, Shahryza Bunut on July 12 and IBA on July 17 in the Brunei-Muara District.
In the Belait District, filling stations of Koperasi Perusahaan Melayu Seria will be closed on July 18 and Roxana on July 20.
On July 24, the Tutong District filling station of KODRAT Berhad will be closed while Perusahaan Cahaya PAKATAN Berhad will be closed on July 25. The Negalang Maju Sdn Bhd filling station in Temburong will be closed on July 26. – Fadley Faisal
