Six families of new converts received donations through the Islamic Da’wah Centre’s (PDI) Fathul Barakah 5.0 Project yesterday.
Yesterday, Head of the Religious Officer at the Temburong District Office Harris Hamdillah binti Haji Masri and President of the Temburong Convert Association Muhd Ashim Amrullah bin Abdul Rahman led the team to deliver donations to the underprivileged families.
The Fathul Barakah 5.0 project has donated basic necessities to some 250 muallaf families to date. Contributions came from donation drives in all four districts last month.
The project aimed to ease the burden of underprivileged muallaf families as well as dakwah in the caring of life and welfare of converts to enable unhindered performance of their religious obligations. The donations also included books on prayer guidance.
The Fathul Barakah project also serves to strengthen ties among convert associations. – Lyna Mohamad
