Some 80 members representing 13 associations under the Council of Women of Brunei Darussalam (CWBD) continued their series of Tedarus Al-Quran for Juzuk 5 at the Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) building in the capital yesterday.
The PGGMB’s Women’s Committee, with the support of PGGMB’s executive committee members, hosted the ceremony.
Apart from PGGMB, other associations under CWBD also organised the Tedarus Al-Quran including the Kampong Junjongan Women’s Association (PEWAJA).
The ceremony was held at PEWAJA member Hajah Rusdina binti Haji Daud’s residence in Kampong Junjongan, among the attendees was PEWAJA Chairperson Haslienahwati binti Yusof. – Rokiah Mahmud
