The Authority on Building Control and Construction Industry (ABCi) at the Ministry of Development (MoD) launched its four-day Build Brunei Talk Series 2024 at Indera Pahlawan Hall, MoD on Monday.
The event is open to the public, stakeholders in the construction industry to raise awareness and general understanding on building control and construction industry. The programme provides an opportunity for government and non-government agencies to share current development issues and updates on processes within the industry.
It also seeks to strengthen cooperation between government agencies and industry players while fostering cooperation, professionalism and goodwill in the construction industry.
For the first series, the topics include development planning to build a house or building, construction requirements and work safety.The public can also seek clarification on application submission requirements such as development approvals, occupation permit (OP) and builders licence registration. – Azlan Othman
