Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB) and its subsidiaries Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sdn Bhd and Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd held the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and for His Majesty’s late son Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim, at the Royal Mausoleum yesterday.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof as Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors and Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman as Syariah Affairs Advisor for Perbadanan TAIB were in attendance. Members of Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors, Syariah Advisory Committee as well as 200 officers and staff of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries were also present.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin led by Mosque Affairs Office Monitoring Officer (Zone 2) Haji Mohd Azrol Alim bin Haji Zaini followed by recitations of Tahlil and Doa Arwah.
