The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) held a recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil ceremony for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and for His Majesty’s late son Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim at the Royal Mausoleum, Jalan Tutong yesterday, in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan.
Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was the guest of honour.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yaasiin, followed by Tahlil led by Gadong Police headquarters’ surau imam APO Staf Sergeant 6472 Mohammad Yusri bin Haji Abu Bakar. – James Kon

Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the MoE Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad led the delegation. The event began with the recitation of Tahlil, led by Imam of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Mosque imam Muhammad bin Haji Bagol, followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin. – James Kon
