SEOUL (ANN/KOREA HERALD) – Taeyang of Big Bang will hold an encore solo concert in Seoul on Feb. 1, his agency The Black Label announced Friday. This performance follows the successful “The Light Year” tour, which kicked off in Seoul in August and took him to eight cities across Asia from late September to mid-December.
The initial Seoul concerts marked Taeyang’s first solo shows in seven years and generated significant buzz, particularly due to a surprise on-stage reunion with fellow Big Bang members G-Dragon and Daesung.
The trio recently reunited again with a performance of “Home Sweet Home” at the 2024 MAMA Awards, and the single subsequently achieved a first-place win on a television music chart show last week, further fueling fan excitement.
Before returning to Seoul, Taeyang will resume “The Light Year” tour with a performance in Jakarta on Jan. 25. He also has confirmed concerts in Bangkok and two shows in Macao.
