Support for single mothers

QAF Auto Sdn Bhd yesterday touched the hearts of the Single Mothers Movement Association (PGIT) with its Ramadhan CSR Campaign at the BMW showroom of the QAF Centre.

The company also treated 70 single mothers from PGIT to a sungkai buffet.

QAF Auto General Manager Alisa Khoo said, “We recognise the challenges faced by single mothers in our community, especially during Ramadhan. Our goal is to express our appreciation for their hard work and dedication while also supporting their businesses in the spirit of unity and solidarity.”

Meanwhile, PGIT President Norliha binti Haji Besar said, “This is a very fortunate year for PGIT. We are touched by the support and care from QAF Auto for giving us the trust and donations.”

She also said, “PGIT was established on December 8, 2021 with 80 members. We now have 162 members in the association.”

Sin Guan Brothers Co, Syarikat Leah Jaya, Zahara Charity Foundation, Syarikat Aliaa Sdn Bhd, Cataleya Trading Company, Supa Save from Ben Foods Sdn Bhd, Kingston Brunei and Berjaya Fast Track Sdn Bhd are among the companies who contributed to the cause.

QAF Auto customer relationship manager Dawn Jamolin Hurtado said, “We are deeply grateful to the companies, who joined us in the initiative to uplift and empower single mothers in Brunei. Their generosity and compassion reflect the true spirit of Ramadhan and we are honoured to partner with them in making a positive difference in the lives of these mothers.” – James Kon
