The Britain Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) on green economy was held at Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam on Wednesday.
The forum featured Standard Chartered Bank Cluster Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Indonesia and ASEAN Markets, Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce Indonesia and board member of the UK-ASEAN Business Council Rino Donosepoetro. He gave a talk on the integration of sustainability into business practices and shared strategies and real-world examples of how businesses can achieve sustainable growth.
Standard Chartered Bank Brunei CEO and BBBF Chair Pengiran Aki Ismasufian bin Pengiran Haji Ibrahim said the forum, attended by business leaders and green advocates was well-received, adding that the discussions and Donosepoetro’s insights reinforced the importance of sustainability in today’s business landscape. Pengiran Aki Ismasufian also said Donosepoetro inspired attendees to take proactive steps towards building a more environmentally conscious economy.
