His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on Saturday visited the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) to take a look at the newly implemented religious education integration into the national education curriculum.
In his titah, His Majesty touched on the integration, affirming no intentions of abolishing religious school. His Majesty also commanded the establishment of a Department of Zakat, Wakaf and Baitul Mal while inquiring the current status of zakat in the country.
The monarch also visited Pulaie Primary School, interacting with students in the canteen during break time.
