His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended the coronation ceremony of His Majesty King Charles III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and Her Majesty Queen Camilla at the Westminister Abbey, London, United Kingdom (UK).
Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
The coronation ceremony was attended by members of the British royal families, heads of states and governments as well as guests from all over the world.
The ceremony began with a procession that started at Buckingham Palace and ended at Westminster Abbey.
During the procession, His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty Queen Camilla travelled in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach, to attend the Coronation Service.
After the Coronation Service, His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty Queen Camilla returned to Buckingham Palace with a larger-scale ceremonial procession, known as the Coronation Procession, in which His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty Queen Camilla travelled in the Gold State Coach.
The Coronation Procession included armed forces from across the Commonwealth and the British Overseas Territories, and all services of the Armed Forces of the UK. The procession also included 10 members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. At the Buckingham Palace, His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty Queen Camilla received a Royal Salute from the UK and Commonwealth Armed Forces in the Buckingham Palace Gardens, and then appeared on the Buckingham Palace Balcony.
