Students’ safety, well-being priority at National Day celebration

The safety and well-being of students are the priority for the Ministry of Education (MoE), especially those involved in the 40th National Day celebration.

At the celebration, two meals will be given to the students – breakfast before the event and lunch following the event.

This was shared by Deputy Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the MoE Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman during a press conference yesterday on the upcoming 40th National Day celebration.

He added that five reception venues have been prepared for the celebration. The locations are: International Convention Centre (ICC), Indoor Stadium, Multipurpose Hall (MPH), Muhibbah Hall at the Brunei-Muara District Office, and the Fire and Rescue Department Hall in Berakas.

The meals will be served to the students in a buffet setting to ensure its quality, he said.

Meanwhile, the committee has appointed suppliers according to the established standards.
