Students from Panaga School shared their English language knowledge and insights with their counterparts from Sayyidina Ali Secondary School (SMSA) on Saturday.
The students, part of a collaborative programme titled ‘Language Leaders’, aimed to develop language and public speaking skills. Last year, a similar programme had Panaga School students teach French to SMSA Students, while their peers from SMSA taught Bahasa Melayu to Panaga School students.
Nineteen Panaga School students met with some 98 SMSA students in four Year 7 classes and engaged them in various activities.
Both schools hope that the programme will inspire the students to learn more about the power of teaching and learning while making friends from a broad and diverse range of cultural backgrounds.
