Two students from Politeknik Brunei (PB) left the country yesterday to participate in the Youth Environmental Education Conference under 12th World Environmental Education Congress (WEEC) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from today until February 2.
The delegation comprises Muhammad Aamirul Asyraff bin Haji Ainolnizam and Halidi bin Mohammad, accompanied by their lecturer Muhammad Hazazi Rifaie bin Said. They will be joined by practitioners, academics and youth worldwide to discuss global calls for action on environment.
The conference offers a platform to empower the youth, to share their perspectives on environmental challenges and chart their aspirations while forging global connections.
Themed ‘Connecting People, Creating Tomorrow’, looks to highlight education in securing a sustainable future. – James Kon
