Students gain skills through outreach programme

The heavy rainfall on November 30 failed to dampen the excitement of the Community Outreach Programme at Sungai Tali Primary School, Lumut. Organised by the school, the event aimed to foster stronger connections with the local community through engaging activities and games.

Head of the Entrepreneurship Innovation Centre at the Ministry of Education Adna Shatriremie bin Haji A Abdul Rahman, the guest of honour, was welcomed by the event’s chairperson, Zeti Yusrina binti Haji Jaludin.

In her opening remarks, Zeti Yusrina highlighted the programme’s significance in offering students learning opportunities that integrate cultural and literacy development through enjoyable activities.

“Additionally, the event strengthens the bond between teachers, staff, and the parents and guardians, while fostering a sense of community,” she said.

The event also featured stalls operated by local vendors and entrepreneurs, many of whom were former students of the school. Zeti Yusrina noted their contributions as a testament to the enduring connection between the alumni and the school. – Daniel Lim
