Strength and skill win big

Team Chainblock emerged as the winners in Category A (below 560 kilogrammes) and Category B (below 680 kilogrammes) of a tug-of-war competition on Sunday, followed by SPSS, MS PPDB, and Hachi 88.

Bantaiyan came second in Category B and MS PPDB in third and MG5 A in fourth place. The competition was one of the highlights of the Ford Fest 2024 at the Berakas Sports Complex.

The first prize winners received a trophy, medal and BND700, second place received BND500, third place received BND300 and fourth place received BND150, while fifth to 10th received BND50 each. In the Strongest Man and Strongest Woman events, Elvic emerged victorious, while Nicholas and Raaz came in second and third. Ida was crowned the Strongest Woman followed by Yat in second place and Falvia in third.

Winners received BND250 each, while second place received BDN200, third place BND100, fourth place BND70 and fifth place BND50. Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Mohammad Tawih bin Abdullah, the guest of honour at the closing event, presented the prizes. – Lyna Mohamad
