Special needs students celebrate birthdays with games, activities

A group of special needs students from Pusat Bahagia Eric Goh in Kuala Belait celebrated their birthdays alongside the first anniversary of the Beta Testing Services Sdn Bhd (BTS) Training Centre.

Pusat Bahagia’s social work officer Dayangku Khairah Wadhihah binti Zainurin was the guest of honour at the event held on October 22. In her opening speech, Dayangku Khairah Wadhihah emphasised the event’s goal to celebrate the birthdays of the special needs students and create a fun-filled day with games and activities.

Representatives from BTS, including Director Liew Tai Ping, General Manager Hon Jenn Hui and Technical Manager Balakrishnan Chandramohan, were also present.

Balakrishnan noted that the celebration was also a way to commemorate the testing centre’s first anniversary. “We want to celebrate this milestone and our achievements with the community, while also connecting and supporting those in need,” he said.

The celebration featured a cake-cutting ceremony, birthday songs and goodie bags for the special needs students and staff.

There were also games with prizes awarded to the participating students. – Daniel Lim
