Water meters in Brunei Darussalam are being replaced with Unified Smart Metering System’s (USMS) smart water meters.
The installation of smart water meter is mandatory for new water supply connections at all residences, commercial and government buildings including additional meters. The smart meter can be purchased from DST Network Sdn Bhd.
The implementation of USMS, effective October 2, 2022, was highlighted by the Public Works Department at the Ministry of Development in a statement yesterday. The project is being carried out by DST Network and supported by the Department of Water Services. – James Kon
